WarningSum:...Strong Winds To Continue Across Eastern Iowa And Northwest
Illinois This Afternoon...

Warning Message:A strong low pressure system moving through the Great Lakes will
continue to result in windy conditions across eastern Iowa and
northwest Illinois this afternoon. Gusty west to northwest winds
from 20 to 30 mph can be expected...with brief gusts up to 45 mph
possible. Winds are expected to diminish considerably after 5 PM.
Drivers of trucks...campers...trailers...and other high profile
vehicles should be extra cautious...especially on north to south
oriented roads. Home owners should take steps to secure outdoor
furniture and lightweight lawn items.
